Millenium United Kingdom Tour

In late June, 2000, my wife and I decided to take one last trip abroad before the school year started.

I was somewhat tired of going to Taiwan, where I don't speak the language. Rather than pursuing my Chinese studies more diligently, I decided we'd go to the United Kingdom. (We'd have gone to Australia, but the pre-Olympic hype was messing their chances of getting my tourism dollars.)
