Hawaii (Oahu, Hawaii and Kauai) 2003

In the year 2003, we had a timeshare to use, and as I've always wanted to see actual lava, Hawaii seemed the place to go. As a side "benefit" Hawaii is halfway to Taiwan and, as such, we felt that it would make a good middle ground to meet up with my in-laws so that they could spend some time with their grand-daughter.

The trip began like any other trip, I had my daily journal book with me at all times, recording my thoughts and impressions each day. Midway through the trip, I fell ill, and fell behind on keeping my entries, eventually giving up all together.

Now, almost a year later, I have attempted to recreate our journey on paper, using pictures, video and my credit card statements to jog my memory along with what notes I have.

Here now is that long-untold story:
